Tell Senator Brower to Schedule Campus Carry (AB487)

AB 487 was passed by the Assembly on May 29th and is awaiting a hearing in Senate Judiciary. Please click here to email Senator Brower and the Senate Judicary Committee and urge them to schedule campus carry.

This is our last chance to pass campus carry. Senator Greg Brower says 'there is no appetite to hear it'. Help us show him just how much appetite there is from Nevadans!

Please forward this alert to as many like-minded people as you know
and urge them to take action as well.

Stand with Nevada gun stores - Support AB316

Assembly Bill 316 has been referred to Assembly Ways & Means and is in serious danger of dying. NVFAC has worked with Assemblywoman Jill Dickman on behalf of our Nevada gun stores who have been burdened to collect sales tax on out of state transfers. Taxes on any other item purchased out of state are the responsibility of the consumer to pay. This would be like asking Fed-Ex or UPS to collect taxes on out of state purchases.

Many Nevada gun stores have indicated that they may stop performing transfers if this law is not changed because of the huge liability it places on them. Please urge the committee to accept the fiscal note rather than ask our firearms stores to carry the burden.
