Description

Requires the school nurse or an administrator to develop an individualized health care plan and an individualized emergency health care plan for any student with epilepsy or a seizure disorder. The nurse or administrator must obtain a release from the parent to share information, coordinate the care, and ensure that all school employees are trained every 2 years in the care of students with epilepsy or seizure disorders by a Missouri organization approved by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. The bill provides immunity to school employees acting in good faith.
