Last Thursday, the White House and a bipartisan group of US Senators agreed  upon an infrastructure framework, opening the door for an infrastructure bill to move next month.

What are the next steps in passing the infrastructure bill?

  • There is now a narrow window of time for the bill to pass by the Sept 30th deadline and ahead of mid-term elections.
  • The bipartisan bill may move with a surface transportation reauthorization, however Members of Congress are drafting legislative language at this time
