Your Indiana Library Federation actively advocates for libraries. In the 2020 session of the Indiana General Assembly, ILF proactively shepherded SB410 from idea to unanimous passage. The new law allows library card access to children receiving foster care services, clarified elements from a 2019 law (HEA1343), and requires criminal history check policies. Help us introduce policy makers and influencers to the range of services in the modern library (eBooks, eGovernment, makerspace, library of things). Share your story--with family, friends, neighbors, store clerks, on social media, and with us. We would love to know 1-2 unique services or points of pride for every library in Indiana.
