Congressman Lee Zeldin declared today he is running for NY governor. We would like to know if he will commit to opposing Covid-19 shot mandates, and public and private vaccine passports?

New York Take Action: Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz has decreed that everyone who attends Buffalo Bills football games and Buffalo Sabres hockey matches, both employees and spectators, must get the Covid shot. He claims the New York Excelsior pass will be used to prove vaccination status, even though the Excelsior Pass cannot distinguish between people who have had vaccines or have tested negative. This is a poorly thought out plan, that can't worked as claimed, he has no authority to impose it, and it is a gross violation of the rights of everybody he would subject to it.

The Senate passed an identical bill in 2018, but unless they are pushed they are not likely to do anything before the session ends on June 10. Senate Bill S5157 and Assembly Bill A7042 would allow New Yorkers injured by vaccines required by government to have their day in court.
