There are a variety of ways to get involved with the St. Louis Regional Chamber's public policy efforts.
Attend the Missouri and/or Illinois Public Affairs Network Meetings.
Meeting throughout the year, Network members gain information and insights from influential business, civic and policy leaders on issues at the forefront of legislative debate. Network members also serve as "ground troops" for the Chamber's advocacy efforts and by participating in direct advocacy and special Public Policy events.
The Public Affairs Network meetings are free to attend for all Chamber members. Contact Sherri Bailey at firstname.lastname@example.org or (314) 444-1134 to be added to the Missouri Public Affairs Network and/or the Illinois Public Affairs Network list.
Join an Issue Committee to get involved in the policy development process at the Chamber. The Chamber has four issue committees and any Chamber member can join the committees. The committees are:
- Economic Growth and Fiscal Policy
- Education Attainment and Talent Development
- Energy and Environment
- Transportation and Infrastructure
Attend other public policy events, such as our Public Policy Speaker Series, our lobby days in Missouri and Illinois, the Illinois House vs. Senate Softball Game, or the Chamber Champion Awards.
