CEP...so long!

Our county went CEP a few years ago. If this proposed rule is passed, there is a possibility that we can no longer afford, or qualify, for CEP. If fewer students are directly certified, and we can't accept applications, I believe, for our county school district, we would most likely have to drop CEP. The working poor, those who truly need assistance, would be the ones to suffer.
We also have to offer a breakfast strategy in all of our schools. This could be breakfast in the classroom or grab and go. If we can no longer be CEP, these programs will drop a significant amount of participation, or our bill debt will go through the roof. We want all students to have access to a healthy breakfast, but don't want to force that on a family that may be making just enough to make ends meet.
