CASBO's Legislative Committee meets regularly throughout the legislative session to discuss legislation and budget matters and adopt formal positions on bills that are of interest to our members. 

CASBO strives to be a voice for public education and to work collaboratively with all stakeholders, including parents and student organizations,community based insitutions, and elected officials to invest in public education.

​The principles contained in the 2018 CASBO State Advocacy Platform provide basic parameters to guide the CASBO’s Legislative Committee and the Board of Directors on matters that are pending before the California Legislature and federal government.
