Issue Background

Congressional Armenian Caucus

The ANCA urge U.S. House Members to join the Congressional Armenian Caucus and lend their voice to expand the U.S.-Armenia relationship, helps secure a truthful and just resolution of the Armenian Genocide; Support Nagorno Karabakh freedom and work to advance the broad range of issues in a bipartisan manner.

Take Action Now

Established by Congressman Frank Pallone (D-NJ) and former Illinois Republican Congressman John Edward Porter in 1995, the Congressional Armenian Caucus has worked tirelessly to:

-- Expand U.S.-Armenia diplomatic, cultural, economic, and military relations

-- Support the right of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic to live in security and freedom

-- Works toward a truthful and just resolution of the Armenian Genocide.

-- Speaks out against the increasing threats of extremist fundamentalism against the Armenian and other Christian communities in the Middle East

-- Supports the economic and cultural development of the predominantly Armenian Samtskhe-Javakheti region of Georgia

Each of these priorities, and all the many others pursued by the Caucus, advance U.S. regional interests, in a strategically significant area of the world, and promote core American values, such as justice, freedom, and democratic development.

The key to regional peace and improved Armenia-Turkey relations is a truthful and just resolution of the Armenian Genocide.
