Commentary

AIDS United is monitoring this legislation. We believe the legislation needs to be modernized to ensure only people living with HIV/AIDS are given access to housing units through the HOPWA program. We are investigating the appropriate allocation of resources under this legislation to ensure existing infrastructure is not lost and there is capacity in jurisdictions to best use new funding in the coming fiscal year.
