Federal - H Res 36

A resolution establishing a select committee to investigate and report on the attack on the United States consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

Introduced

January 18, 2013

Description

Congressman Frank Wolf's legislation, H. Res. 36 is a congressional resolution that would create a special short-term (90 day) committee to investigate the September 11, 2012 attack in Benghazi.

There have been several congressional hearings in both the House and Senate about this attack -- that killed four Americans including a U.S. Ambassador - yet there are still many serious unanswered questions.

ACT! for America believes this is unacceptable and further, that the severity of this issue rises to a level requiring a targeted special committee to investigate the Benghazi attack as well as the response (or lack thereof) by the American government.

There is NO COST to the taxpayer for assembling such a special committee.
